Today we travelled to Mbale on the Elgon Flyer. A very comfortable ride was only interupted by the front tyre bursting just outside Iganga. It took them 2 hours to change the tyre on the roadside but we were eventually on our way.
We arrived in Mbale and soon took mutatus to our campsite at Crow's Nest up in the mountains. It was a beautiful campsite overlooking waterfalls and the valley below. The peaceful surrounding were soon disrupted however by the screams of Harriet as she tripped, fell over and was covered in ants! Despite Jamie B's best efforts to help, the only thing to do was jump in the shower and wash them off!
After cooking dinner we settled in to a comfortable little area to play some games before heading to bed.
