We awoke early to start our day trek, a good 4 hours down to the base of the first Sipi Falls. We were greeted with a stunning view at the base of the falls before trekking up the steep slopes to the second falls via a bat cave set into the mountain side. We scrambled inside to see the bats before eating our jam sandwich lunch and trekking on to the falls. They were beautiful and well worth the trek!
We returned to camp and did some washing before meeting to chat about the next few days treks. We wanted to make sure we used our time wisely and talked to Moses our guide about more challenging treks. We ended the day with dinner and games - a brilliant way to get everyone together. The A Team won, much to the dissappointment of the B Team (who all thought the game was a 'stupid, poopid game' after losing!).
